Porsche’s first-ever electric vehicle is 2020 Porsche Taycan. It was initiated four years ago when the Mission E concept car was exposed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. During that time, everyone was shocked by the idea of an all-electric Porsche sports car. Both 2020 Porsche Taycan models have standard electronically controlled dampers and three-chamber air suspension that is adjustable for both height and firmness.
The Turbo has 20-inch wheels with 245/45 tires in front and 285/40 tires in back. The Turbo S has 21-inch wheels with more massive 265/35 tires in front and 305/30 tires in back.

A 10.9-inch display serves as the central infotainment interface. It has clear menu logic and maps graphics. There are familiar and spontaneous physical controls for the steering wheel, mirrors, wipers, cruise control, and other things that are usually operated with switches and stalks.
Further, Porsche is delighted with its electronically controlled air-conditioning vents. The airflow direction can be adjusted through a menu-level deep into the touchscreen, which gives the options as Diffuse, Focused, and Individual. Further, by choosing the latter, it opens a screen where it allows customizing the focus points according to your preference.
Seats are comfortable and supportive over long stretches. And even though they are very adjustable, the basic form is good enough. Several leather themes and one leather-free fabric options are available. Further, there is plenty of headroom and legroom, and the driving position is top-notch.
The 2020 Porsche Taycan battery is fundamentally different from any competitor’s. The battery, inverters, electric motors, and the external DC fast-charging equipment are all assembled around the 800-volt operation. Whereas other cars are built around 400 volts. Thus this higher voltage allows for faster charging, higher regenerative braking capacity, cooler motor operating temperatures, and smaller onboard cabling that weighs less, taking up much less space.
There are factory paint choices and interior color schemes to choose from. For the exterior paint, there are ten colors to choose from, in which half of those are shades of gray, and the other half are more bold colors. All colors no-charge option except for Carmine Red, thus it costs an extra $3,150. The colors are:

Many of the above options come with an extra charge. Hence for the basic leather interior, black is no charge while the last two costs an additional $570. In the second leather interior, all-black and Graphite Blue options do not cost extra, whereas black and grey cost an additional $570. Finally, in the Olea Club, leather interior choices all three costs additional as were the first two costs $2,450 and black and beige costs $3,010.
Pricing starts around $104,000, but with higher trim levels, the price can go up to $200,000 with options. The base Porsche Taycan 4S will cost around $103,800. Whereas the midrange Taycan Turbo will costs around $150,900, plus the Taycan Turbo S raises the price to $185,000. Overall, the Taycan is pricier than all other luxury electric cars; hence, for many shoppers, 2020 Porsche Taycan would be out of reach.
Hence it is no doubt that the 2020 Porsche Taycan would challenge a wide range of conventional sport-luxury sedans in 2020.
